Every November is Black History Month. We have a special Assembly and learn about famous and influential black people, such as Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. Click on the link below and see what we learned

We raised over 200 pounds for Red Nose Day this year, by dressing up in red and selling cakes.

On "Shrove Tuesday" or "Pancake" Day, Year 1 learned about the start of the Christian time of fasting called Lent.

In November KS1 had a visit from the doctors of the "Teddybear hospital". They helped our poorly teddies, and talked to us about staying clean and healthy
Every class got together with their "buddy class" to make a mask of their favourite character from a book, on the occasion of "World Book Day".

Year 6 spend a whole day creating structures from rolled up newpapers
Year 3 spend all day designing, making and evaluating moving toys
We all love the Disney film "High School Musical". We were given some free resources, and James, our Music and Drama teacher, taught us some of the dances that were used in the film.
We had a fantastic day when Alex from the circus visited us.

As part of our SEAL topic "Going for Goals" we all had to learn a new skill. We had great fun trying to juggle and balance.

Teachers from a company called "Chinwag" taught us about prejudice, racism and racial bullying. We took part in discussions, workshops and drama activities.
