Ms Ros Coffey

Chair- LEA appointed governor

I have been a school governor with Tower Hamlets for 15 years and I am in my third term as an LEA governor at Smithy Street. I am very proud to be involved with Smithy Street as Chair of Governors, we have great team in school, super pupils and very supportive parents.

Although the school has increased in numbers over the years, there is still a really personal feeling to the school, you only have to walk through the doors to know that each child is cherished and celebrated for their unique talent.

If you were to ask me what I love most about the school, it would have to be the corridors, each time I come into school I am blown away by the quality of are work on the walls and the levels of achievement in written work.
