Homework is important!

Why?

• It helps you practice things you have already learned at school
• It makes you disciplined and independent
• It prepares you for secondary school
• It helps you gets ready for exams and tests
• It helps you remember things
• It lets you discover things…. and much more!!!!

 

Homework tips:

• Make sure you know when your homework needs to be finished
• Don’t leave it to the last moment, you will feel rushed and your homework will suffer
• Find a quite place in the home, without distractions
• Take regular breaks, stop for 5 minutes once every hour
• Make sure you know what to do, ask your teacher if you’re not sure
• Ask for help when you get stuck. Parents or older brothers and sisters may be able to help!
